Homewood Suites Home Away From Home

Our family is a big fan of Hilton Hotels because my husband uses his Hilton points so we can stay in exotic places all over the world.  This past summer we stayed at a Hilton in Copenhagen which was connected to the train terminal so we were quickly transported to the place Hans Christian Anderson wrote children's stories.  While enjoying our visit to Denmark a pipe broke  and flooded our home.

So for six months out of 2011 we continued to stay in Hilton Hotels while our home was being remodeled.  Homewood Suites was our home away from home as our contractor repaired dry wall.   Desiree gave me a cheerful wake up call so I wouldn't be late to work.  Dennis hooked up two internet connections so my husband and I had access to our computers.   Jeff, the office manager trained his staff well because everyone greeted us with, "Hello Ms. Kent, Hello Mr. Kent."

Each morning was a  choice of eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes or an assortment of baked goods.  Angelica made delicious breakfast enchiladas each week, which I looked forward too.  Dinner was served Monday through Thursday with the same warm smile from each chef.  We were greeted with yummy fried chicken, fajita night with homemade salsa, delicious stuffed pepper, or American hot dogs with chili sauce.

I want to thank Hilton for providing such a wonderful place to stay as it was our home away from home for almost six months.
